Proposoothe Natural Shampoo ™ 16 oz.

This unique antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-itch shampoo contains Propolis, a natural bactericidal produced by bees and oatmeal for itch relief for dogs, cats and horses.

It leaves your animals smelling fresh and clean without added perfumes. It also aids in the treatment of red, irritated, itchy and inflamed skin. On animals with sores and wounds, bathe them with Proposoothe Natural Shampoo and treat the affected areas with Pavia Natural Wound Care Cream (also available in our store.)

Antibacterial: Proposoothe contains propolis, a natural antibacterial product harvested from bee hives. Propolis is bactericidal against pseudomonas, staph aureus, strep agalactiae and e-coli. 

Anti-inflammatory: Propolis has an anti-inflammatory effect. A study on propolis, published in the "Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine," Volume 83, March 1990, says that the anti-inflammatory effect is due to the flavonoids in propolis, which are benzo-y-pyrone derivatives found in all photosynthesizing cells. The flavonoids in propolis have also been found to stimulate the formation of collagen, which aids the healing process. 

Anti-itch: Proposoothe contains oatmeal, which has a long history of naturally soothing and reducing itch.

Directions: Wet animal completely. Apply Proposoothe Natural Shampoo and massage into pet's coat and skin. Allow shampoo to stay on pet for a minimum of 4 to 5 minutes. Rinse throughly. For external use only. 

Ingredients: Purified water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate Oatmeal extract, Cocomicopropyl Betaine, Natural Glycerine, PEG 600 DS, Polysorbate 80, Propolis Tincture, and Phenonip (preservative).
